At Phinney Ridge Dental, we agree with the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry that states children should start seeing the dentist when the first baby tooth appears or by their first birthday. Baby teeth are temporary, but there’s a lot of oral growth and development taking place, even at this young age.
